  I am (was) a regular Publix shopper. I loved the deals and hot bar. Unfortunately, I will not be eating any prepared food from Publix ever again! I was there two days ago and wanted to get something from the bakery. The woman working at the bakery was in the middle of mopping the floor when she asked if she could help me. I said yes and she put down the mop and immediately went to put on gloves WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. This was disturbing enough, but I was too stunned to say anything. Then, after putting on her gloves, she GRABBED THE MOP AGAIN with her gloved hands and moved it out of the way so she could get to the pastry I had requested. I said I was no longer interested and exited. This was an EXTREME health code violation. I reported it to a manager on duty who didn't seem that interested in dealing with the situation and didn't seem to believe it had happened. I could have any number of health conditions that such an extreme violation of the health code could have exasperated, leading to anything from illness to death -- yet the manager didn't seem that interested in dealing with the issue. And if the woman at the bakery was willing to do this in front of me, JUST IMAGINE WHAT THEY ARE WILLING TO DO when no one is around. I will NEVER eat any prepared food from Publix in Concord EVER AGAIN. If you are wise, you would not either.

  I drive 20 minutes to get to this market bypassing several other chains because this is the best supermarket around. The store is always clean, well stocked with several brands, and best meat and produce in town. Their customer service is top notch! I would recommend Publix especially this location hands down over the competition.

  I LOVE this Publix! Have been going here since they opened for sushi, chicken salad, fresh salads, etc! Went today for lunch and saw in the sushi section they have poke bowls! The girl there highly recommended it so I got it and it's delicious! My new favorite lunch :) Thanks for the great customer service every time I go in.

  After 45 years of shopping at Publix I was beyond ecstatic that I had moved to an area with a Publix close by. The customer service and pharmacy in Florida was great, but the Willow Oaks Publix is superior to all the other ones I have shopped in.

  I like Publix - staff is always nice and they help me out with my stuff which makes handling the baby much easier. Awesome bakery and deli staff. Wish the prices weren't as high, but the store is still great!
